Tundé Jackson

Tundé Jackson is an education and youth development leader with over 25 years experience. Born and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, his background in social work and youth development led to the development of his unique strengths-based approach to leadership and academic development with a focus on how culturally relevant pedagogy impacts student success and identity development.
For nearly two decades, Tundé worked at Pierrepont School in Westport, Connecticut, Jackson held roles of increasing responsibility, including Lower School Teacher, Dean of Students, Dean of School, culminating with a 10 year tenure as Associate Head of School. Prior to joining Pierrepont, Jackson supported at-risk youth with roles at Grosvenor Settlement House & Brookwood Childcare/Therapeutic Foster Boarding Home Unit.
A graduate of Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn and Oberlin College, Tundé brings a holistic approach to education, emphasizing student-centered learning, and community building. With a commitment to empowering students to take ownership of their learning and develop into empathetic, engaged citizens, he is dedicated to advancing educational excellence and equity in diverse communities.
