Jay David
General Manager

Jay David is a Queens, New York native and seasoned basketball executive with more than 15 years of leadership experience across youth sports, education, NIL strategy, brand partnerships, and community-based mentorship. He is the proud father of a 16-year-old daughter, Julianna, and has built his career around using basketball as a vehicle for academic access, character development, and long-term opportunity.

Jay currently serves as General Manager of Varsity Basketball at Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School, where he provides executive oversight of one of the nation’s premier high school basketball programs.

Previously, Jay served as Sports Marketing Director, East Coast Grassroots for adidas, where he led regional grassroots strategy, supported the launch and servicing of the 3 Stripes Select Basketball (3SSB) platform, managed large-scale scholarship initiatives, and executed brand activations at marquee events including the McDonald’s All-American Game. Across his career, he has designed and executed large-scale basketball events, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, secured national sponsorships, and built durable relationships with schools, brands, and governing bodies.

Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, was a participant of the NBA Scout School, and is fluent in English, Creole, and French.
