Carl Dietz
Jump Trading

Carl works as a quantitative researcher for Jump Trading where he designs trading algorithms. Previously he held similar roles at Maverick Capital, Virtu Financial, and Goldman Sachs.

Prior to moving to New York City, Carl served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps, serving deployments to Southeast and Central Asia, where he was decorated for valor in combat. He was raised in Andover, Massachusetts and holds his B.S. in physics from Yale University and an M.Phil in physics the University of Cambridge.

Carl lives in Prospect Heights with his husband and two young children, and he has been active in our community.
