Thursday, March 13th---Slate/PLUS, the sleek flatiron lounge, was packed with nearly 400 hundred supporters to celebrate the achievements and invest in the promise of New Heights student-athletes. MADNESS 2008, our 4th annual event, was a huge success raising over $500,000 for our educational programs through sponsorship, ticket sales, and a live and silent auction. Attendees enjoyed the event program hosted by Harry Smith and Andrea Joyce which included video introductions from ESPN’s Stuart Scott and TNT’s Kenny “The Jet” Smith as well as presentations by our honorees and several New Heights student-athletes.
A sincere thanks goes out to all of our sponsors and supporters for making MADNESS 2008 a very enjoyable and extremely fruitful event.
