On March 18th, New Heights hosted its 5th annual MADNESS fundraiser, consisting of a NCAA “March Madness” tournament viewing party, cocktail reception, live & silent auction and dinner.

• 525 guests attended and the event raised $425,000 for New Heights' programs.

• Leaders in the industries of sports, finance, entertainment, law and business gathered at the Ainsworth, NYC’s premiere sports viewing event venue.

• The event featured great items in the live and silent auctions, including tickets to the Duke vs. UNC basketball game at Cameroon Indoor Stadium, HBO Sports Prize Fight Package, passes to Inside The NBA, a Hamptons vacation, Villanova Wildcats basketball tickets and a house visit from celebrity chef Olivier Muller.

Honorees

John Rodin, Partner at Glenview Capital, has provided valuable leadership & service to New Heights as a member of the Board of Directors. The Berkowitz Family was honored for their longtime support of New Heights, especially Adam Berkowitz, an editor for the New York Daily News, who dedicates copious amounts of time to coaching and counseling New Heights student-athletes.	Junior Bernal is a senior point guard at the University of Maine, and one of the most accomplished student-athletes in New Heights history.
