Jacqueline Schoninger

Jacqueline Schoninger joined New Heights in 2005 as one of the program’s first female student-athletes. She most recently graduated from the City Year AmeriCorps program where she served at Isaac Newton Middle School in East Harlem. During this time, Jacqueline also worked as a co-head coach for the New Heights 11U Girls’ Basketball Team alongside her former coach Roc Rosa. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Brown University where she played on Varsity Women’s Basketball Team. While at Brown, Jacqueline received the Royce Sport & Society Fellowship and studied the power of sport and inclusivity both in the US and abroad. At the 2015 10th Annual Madness Event, Jacqueline accepted the New Heights Leadership & Service Award at the on behalf of her family.
